WISE Tech India Pitchathon 2025: Over 700 Start-ups Participate in Grand Finale

Mumbai: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) successfully concluded the WISE Tech India Pitchathon 2025, marking the end of a nationwide initiative that brought together more than 700 start-ups from across the country.

The Grand Finale, held on November 14 at the SPJIMR Mumbai campus, celebrated purpose-driven innovation and strengthened India’s rapidly evolving start-up ecosystem.

The WISE Tech India Pitchathon 2025 received applications from across 16 editions and 12 cities including Ambala, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hubbali, Mumbai, Raipur, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and the Northeast.

A total of 35 outstanding start-ups advanced to the national round in Mumbai, where finalists showcased high-impact solutions aligned with clarity of purpose, disciplined execution, and scalable impact.

The event opened with an inspiring keynote by Sunil Bhatia, SPJIMR alumnus and former Infogain CEO, who encouraged founders to pursue bold dreams with unwavering conviction.

Another keynote speaker, Ashish Fafadia, Partner at Blume Ventures, urged start-ups to focus on strong execution and customer value rather than market hype.

Finalists Compete at the WISE Tech India Pitchathon 2025 Grand Finale

Final presentations were evaluated by a distinguished jury featuring Sunil Bhatia, Jatin Madhra of Blume Ventures, and SPJIMR Dean Varun Nagaraj.

After rigorous evaluation, Pamawel (Healthtech), DentAtHome (Healthtech), and Glovatrix (AssisTech) were declared the winners. They received a total of ₹6 lakh in cash prizes, technology credits, and direct entry into the WISE Tech Accelerator set to begin in January 2026.

Dean Varun Nagaraj congratulated the winners and emphasised that the WISE Tech India Pitchathon embodies SPJIMR’s mission of promoting “wise innovation” – solutions that are both technologically advanced and socially responsible.

IGNITE Forum and Strategy Clinics Enhance Founder Learning

The Grand Finale also hosted the Innovation and Growth Network for Incubators, Tech, and Enterprises (IGNITE), a closed-door forum designed for incubation managers and ecosystem leaders to engage in peer learning, strategy sessions, and case discussions.

Additionally, participants benefited from the Product Strategy Clinic, which offered one-on-one guidance from analyst teams, ensuring founders received tailored insights to strengthen their business models and scale effectively.

The conclusion of the WISE Tech India Pitchathon 2025 marks the culmination of a year-long national journey aimed at nurturing purpose-led ventures.

The initiative further strengthens SPJIMR’s role in building an innovation-led entrepreneurial ecosystem that blends commercial success with societal impact, supporting founders committed to driving meaningful change across India.
